Adolescents’ Sexual Education: Parental Involvement in a Rural Area in Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa

Parent-adolescent communication on sexuality is one of the key determinants sexual and reproductive health outcomes adolescents. Despite parent-adolescent sexuality, statistics show an increase in number teenage pregnancies. This interpretative phenomenological analysis explored perceptions parents a rural village Umzinyathi Health District KwaZulu-Natal regarding provision sex education to Ten adolescent children were purposively selected participate study, data collected using face-to-face, semi-structured interviews.
